This vacation house, built by ARBA Architecture, is situated in the middle of a garden planted with fruit trees, offering calm and serenity close to the Normandy beaches.

Near the small town of Neufchâtel-en-Bray, it is at 50 minutes from Dieppe by car and 2 hours from Paris, or 3 hours by train.

The 180 m² house develops is shaped like a wooden hull. The first floor includes a cathedral living room, a library, a dining room, an open kitchen and a bathroom. The upper floors holds three closed beds and a master bedroom hidden at the top of the structure.

The exterior of the house is composed of rough burnished wooden tiles. The invisible entry door incorporated to the back facade and almost invisible, which reinforces the general impression of a house-object. Inside, the large curved glass wall as well as the pine veneer both create a warm luminous atmosphere by any weather.

In the middle of the living room, a rope swing is directly bolted into the structure, adding to the holiday spirit in which the house was designed. Heating is insured by a wood oven.
