Description
Located in a beautiful setting on the banks of the Seine, in the heart of Ile Saint Germain and close to its 18 ha departmental park, this contemporary villa offers a unique quality of life 15 minutes from the center of Paris. Designed in 2007 by architect Eric Daniel-Lacombe, the “Chocolate House” is a building remarquable by its architecture but also by its comfort of life. With a living area of 8094 sq ft on three main levels, it offers a generous family distribution. Its lounge and dining room, with an area of more than 1291 sq ft, open wide on the terrace, the pool, the garden and a private dock on the Seine river. They are also four bedrooms with their bathroom or shower room and dressing room, a separate studio, a large mezzanine and a three car garage. Innovative technical solutions and rare materials in residential architecture were implemented: bay window which can disappear into the ground, pool with mobile background, metallic mesh sunshades… The house won the first housing prize of the Buidling Award 2007.
