Built in 1927 by architect André Lurçat for Swiss artist Walter Guggenbhl, the Villa Guggenbhl is listed in the supplementary inventory of French Historical Monuments since 1975. True Art déco masterpiece, this villa-studio is one of Lur_at_s finest achievements. Located in a confidential alley at the edge of the Montsouris Park in the 14th arrondissement, the villa enjoys an exceptional view and absolute calm. It is close to schools, shops and transport (RER Cité Universitaire, tramway, metro, bus). This triplex apartment occupies the upper part of the villa and offers a surface of 150m/2. The ground floor welcomes the entrance and staircase accessing the main level, a bedroom and a bathroom. The reception area occupies the 2nd and 3rd floors. It consists of a main room decorated with black opaline elements and Jean Perzel lighting. This space is illuminated by an immense “bow-window” which opens a beautiful perspective towards the Montsouris Park. This level also hosts a kitchen beautiful room with bathroom and large bay window. The top floor includes an additional room with triple exposure south, west and north surrounded by a solarium terrace and a small garden. Initially designed for outdoor physical training, the terrace is sheltered by a pierced canopy and offers a panoramic view of the park. The exterior of the villa has recently been restored. A closed garage on street completes the property.
